Dear Sirs,

As instructed we have examined your Books,

Accounts and Vouchers to check the attached "Summary of Working Account" of the S.S. "HONAM" and S.S. "LUNGSHAN"

for the period 3rd September 1925 to 20th April 1926,

inclusive, and the accompanying Schedules for the same

period, viz :-

(1) Statement of monthly working.

(2) Statement of monthly disbursements.

(3) Estimate of monthly cost of laying up

(a) S.S. "Honam" (b) S.S. "Lungshan".

The S.S. "Honam" recommenced the Canton run on

3rd September 1925 and continued until 27th December 1925

when the S.S. "Lungshan" replaced her.

The Statements submitted therefore represent

"Honam" earnings up to 27th December while the Lungshan

"January" earnings cover the period from 27th December

to 31st January Monthly expenditure on the two vessels

has not been apportioned to these dates but we have

satisfied ourselves that the losses shown are not over-

stated by this method of working.
